Happy New Year with 3 Girl JAM!!!

Hi Friends! This is Abby with ScrappinAbby and since this is my last post for 2014, I wanted to create a New Years themed project to share with all of you.

I made a fun & sparkly New Years tag using 3 different ribbons & trims from 3GJ.

Here's a short video that shows you the tag up close along with the 3GJ goodies I used...

I pulled from 3 different bundles for this one...

Holiday Trim-Gold Cording

Diagonal Striped Ribbon-Dark Blue/Navy
Celebrations Bundle-Tuxedo

You crafters know how much I love using more than one bundle or ribbon selection on my projects. It's fun to see how well they all blend & work together....

This tag has such a cool mix of textures from the washi tape to the 3GJ Gold Cording. I encourage you to mix it up a bit and pull from several of the 3GJ ribbon and trim bundles if you don't do that already. Even though the diagonal striped ribbon is a dark navy/blue color, it still goes so well with the gold and black, at least I think so : )

I am excited for the New Year and can't wait to see what 2015 brings. I hope you all have a Happy and safe New Year and I'll see you in 2015!!!

Happy Crafting & Happy New Year!!!

Thanks a Latte

Nicole here today with my last post as a design team member for 3 Girl JAM.  I have had the privilege of serving on this design team for almost 2 years now and I have enjoyed every moment of it!!  However, I felt the end of this term was a good time for me to step aside and allow some other talented crafters a chance at working with this fabulous company.  So, with that said, let me share with you a card I made for my post today -

I used one of the newer products to the 3 Girl JAM store - "Simply White Lace" - as a border and then topped it off with a double bow using some Sterling Crinkle Ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Celebrations" bundle.  I used my 3 Girl JAM bow maker to create my double bow and then hot glued a snowflake gem to the top of it.  For more details on my card, feel free to visit my BLOG.

Mixing up some love

I made this fun step card and set of recipe cards using the adorable mix it up set.  I really like the colors of this set and utilized the digital papers that came with it.
I used a file from the SIL store to cut my card shape and it's layers, printing all the pieces out using the patterns and colors in the set.
I added a cute bow from the baby bundle since it matched so well.

I found these tiny forks at Target in the dollar bins, so I punched holes in the cards then threaded the same ribbon through as a binding.

Holiday Gratitude

 Knock, knock!
Anyone home? Did you survive?
Was your holiday all that you wished for?
I sure hope so!
You may not want to see anything Red, Green or Christmas right now, but I had to share
this fun holiday thank you card I created for our dog groomer.
She's a wonderful person and so sweet to our little Teddy.
I used Lemon-Lime from the LG bundle to make this big bow.
Here is our little man...I edited his hat on because he refused
to sit still with a real one on.  Can you tell he's kinda mad at me?!

There are just a few more days to link up your Thank You/ Gratitude projects.
And...there is also a DESIGN TEAM CALL going on for a few more days!

Thanks for letting me share today.
And thank you for a great year with 3GirlJAM.
As I say so long to my DT position I would like to thank Julie for her wonderful support!
I have enjoyed the products so much, but even more so...the friendships I've made.
Wishing you all a happy and blessed 2015!

A Christmas Thank You

It's Friday, the day after Christmas, and this is Julie O from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with you today. I hope everyone had a nice Christmas.  If you are like me, now it's time to get going on those Christmas thank you cards.
Here's a very simple idea for you -- I made a bunch of these very quickly:

I found this card design in the Silhouette Design Store, by Lori Whitlock.  The crinkle ribbon (3 Girl JAM -- goes without mentioning, I know), is the Holly Berry ribbon from the Winter Bundle.
The card stock is from Echo Park. The red brad is from Close To My Heart.  That's it!
If you'd like some fantastic 3 Girl JAM products for yourself -- perhaps a little after Christmas splurge -- use discount code JO10 for 10% off your entire order!
Our "thankful" challenge is still going on for another week on the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.  Make those thank you cards, add some ribbon and link them up!

Owl ornament by Marji

Image of Winter BundleImage of *New* Holiday Trim
I love making ornaments for my tree, This owl is my own design using different ideas I've seen all around.
I filled my ornament with floor wax then added glitter, once it dried I used hot glue to add the bottle caps and "beak"  For the pupils and highlights, I used sequins I adhered with crystal effects.
I used the green and red trim to add a cute tie to the top then used my gorgeous Holly Berry ribbon for the hanger.

Outdoorsman Ornament with 3 Girl JAM!

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and today I have a holiday project to share with all of you. Each year we have a family tradition of selecting or making an ornament for each other. So this year I again made ornaments for my hubby, daughter and son. This project is the one I made for Steve (my hubby). He is a total outdoorsman and love to hunt and fish. So I made him an antler ornament for our 2014 Family Christmas tree.

I also have a short video that shows you the project up close along with the 3GJ goodies I used...

Here are the ribbons & trims I used...
New Holiday Trim-Gold Cording
Hot & Cold Bundle-Hot Chocolate

I love how this masculine project turned out and I can't wait to show it to my hubby. The Gold Cording and Hot Chocolate go so well with the outdoors theme I was going for.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ Blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Crafting!!!

Santa Claus Pillow Box

Hello, Nicole here today with a quick Christmas box to share that is the perfect size to house a gift card or small treat.  I am giving my nephews gift cards this Christmas and this will go to one of them.

I tied a length of "Holly Berry" crinkle ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM Winter Bundle around the middle of my box.  I created a triple bow using my 3 Girl JAM Bow Maker and then hot glued the cute Santa Claus flair from the 3 Girl JAM "Christmas" flair collection to the center of my bow.  Finally I hot glued my bow and flair to the middle of the ribbon that was wrapped around the box - Voila!!  a cute box to hide a gift card.  Thanks for stopping by today!!  Feel free to visit my blog.

Don't forget the 3 Girl JAM Design Team call is going on right now.  For more information please go HERE. Also, don't forget about our current challenge for the month of December - "gratitude/thankful".  You can find out more as well as link up your projects here.

Sometimes You Need a Friend

Karen N here from Craftily Yours.  Today, I am sharing some special cards that are going to "near-strangers" who helped my family recently.  To read the special, somewhat sad and feel good gratitude story, be sure to check out my personal blog post.

Both of these cards feature the incredibly beautiful 3 Girl JAM Simply White Lace.  This lace is currently one of my favorite pretty embellies to add to a card.  This first version also includes 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon in Daffodil.

On the second card, I also used the super fun 3 Girl JAM Diagonal Stripe Ribbon in Bright Blue.

The stamp is a Phyllis Harris image from Unity Stamp Company.  The paper on the first card is Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower, and on the second card, it's Basic Grey Clippings.  The images are colored with Tim Holtz distress markers.

If you are running low on 3 Girl JAM supplies, please use code KN10 to get a cool 10% off your entire purchase.

AND please enter the 3 Girl JAM December Challenge.  It's all about gratitude.  (Time to get those Christmas Thank You cards started, yes?)

Craftily yours,

Karen

P.S. I Love You

Hello, and happy Friday!  Julie O here today. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary on Wednesday.  I wanted to make a special card for him, and this is what I created:

There's 3 Girl JAM Jute Ribbon, 3 Girl JAM Christmas Candy ribbon from the Seasons Bundle (my all-time favorite), and a Love Flair Button on this card.
The stamp, from Unity Stamp Co.  I stamped the image, colored it with Copic markers, and fussy cut it.  The sentiment is part of the the stamp set.  I use a Spellbinders die to cut it out. The circle was sprayed with various alcohol inks using an airbrush.  All papers are by Close To My Heart.
Need some Flair, Jute, or crinkle ribbon for yourself?  Or for a Christmas gift?  Use discount code JO10 for 10% off of anything in the 3 Girl JAM Store
Don't forget the current challenge, "Gratitude/Thankful" going on through 1/2/15.

A New Journey....

My sweet 3 Girl JAM DT sistas, and fellow crafters.  It is with sadness in my heart that I am writing this post today.  This will be my last and final post for 3 Girl JAM.  I have had a wonderful new door open up for me, and it is an amazing journey that I am going to take! However, this journey requires my attention and time, so unfortunately I am unable to continue designing for Julie- owner of 3 Girl JAM.  I have loved my time here with all of you.  This is my 3rd term with 3 Girl JAM and I can't even begin to explain how much I have loved designing for this wonderful company.  The friendships that I have made and the amazing product that I have worked with are priceless.
I am sure that many of you are wondering what my new journey is and where it will take me.  I was recently chosen to be on the elite Design Team for Create and Craft.  Create and Craft  TV is an amazing Company from the UK.  They are a very large network sharing the love of Crafting of all kinds 24 hours a day on Television.  Yes they are a lot like HSN or QVC but BIGGER!!! Instead of having only one or two days every couple of months dedicated to crafting. Create and Craft dedicates EVERY DAY to crafting!! They are coming to the U.S. and we can soon watch 24/7 ourselves!!! But that isn't all..... Even though I have been chosen to be on this elite DT I have also been asked to be the DT Coordinator. I am honored and thrilled to have this wonderful opportunity come my way.
Again, I would like to thank Julie and the Design Team for your love and support. Your encouragement and kind words mean so much.  I would also like to thank all of YOU amazing crafters for your kind words and love through comments, shares, pins and more.
I will continue to support and share my love of 3 Girl JAM with the world! Thank you for taking the time to read my goodbye.
Remember: Take time to create each day! Enjoy what you do, love what you do and most importantly BELIEVE in what you do!!!
