50th Birthday Card

Hi Everyone- JulieK here!

I have a super fun birthday card to share with  you today.
I haven't done many "boy" cards- and even fewer "men" cards, so when my husband asked me to make a 50th Birthday card for one of his Poker buddies, I was a little nervous- but I was also up for the challenge.
I asked my husband if he wanted it funny, punny, serious, or if he had a particular sentiment in mind.
He had no idea....
so we came up with this together.

Even though it's a "man" card, I still had to use my 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon.
I used some Holly Berry, London Blue, and Sunflower
along with some cut outs and some print and cut from the Silhouette Store.

(The inside of the card)

Arf! Arf!

We'll see tonight if he thinks it's funny-
or if my Hubs will have to look for a new place to play poker!

Make sure to link up your recent Birthday projects at our challenge blog.
The current challenge is "Anything Birthday- with Ribbon"

A Melon Thanks

Happy Thursday, 3 Girl JAMmers!  It's Julie O, from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with some late week inspiration for you. I recently needed a thank you card, and thought this summertime inspired card would be perfect for what I needed.

Isn't she the sweetest? I used lots of the beautiful Lipstick crinkle ribbon, part of the Pink and White Bundle, found in the 3 Girl JAM store.
Here's a close up of the ribbon, Vintage Button (also for sale in the store), and the sentiment.

I hope you liked today's inspiration. For more details about supplies used, and more projects using 3 Girl JAM products, please visit my blog.

The Journey Framed Wall Art

Hi Friends! This is Abby with ScrappinAbby and I have a really cool project to share with all of you today. Using some leftover items from another project, a Dollar Tree (store) frame and some of the yummy 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon , I've created a beautiful (I think..lol) wall art piece for my craft room.
Here's a short video that shows you the frame up close along with the crinkle ribbons I used...

Here you can see that I've used some of the Antique White crinkle ribbon to hang my frame.
The background for my frame are some strips of paper bags I had leftover from another project. This is why I keep my scraps...you can always use them for another crafty project. I love this stamped sentiment from Tim Holtz.
Love love love how the beautiful Purple Passion crinkle ribbon accents the flower cluster and drapes off the bottom of the frame. The frame itself was a gold color. I simply painted & sanded it a bit to give it the distressed look.

Here's a closer look at the yummy crinkle ribbon....

I love how this project turned out & I can't wait to hang it on my craft room wall. You can use the 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon for so many crafty purposes on one single project which is one of the many reasons why I love it so much.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ Blog today and for letting me share another ScrappinAbby crafty project with all of you.

Don't forget to stop by the 3GJ Store and pick up some yummy crinkle ribbon!!

Happy Crafin : )

Graduation

Hello crafty friends!!

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N' Make Cards to share a card with you!

It's that time of year...graduation parties!!  And we have a lot of them!

So for my post today, I thought it would be fun to create a graduation card!
I cut out the "2013" on my Cricut and embossed the white portion.  I used a new Inspired By Stamping sentiment.  And finished the card off with a fun crinkle ribbon bow!

I used Dress White and Holly Berry for this fun bow!!

Check out all the lovely 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon colors here!

Have a lovely day!!

You're Invited.......

Good Morning~
Jessica here from Chick-n-Scrap.
It has been awhile since I have posted on the 3GJ blog other than for the challenge with a sneak peak so I am excited to be sharing a project with you all today!!

It is Friday and today is my "official" first day of summer vacation!!
My kiddo's finished school on Tuesday and Wednesday but yesterday I hosted the end of the year Staff Appreciation Breakfast.
This is to say thanks for a GREAT school year, say goodbye to teacher's if any are leaving and to give them what they all LOVE~ food...LOL!

So here is the invite I created....
I wanted something fun for my invite this year. It has been a rough year in our district with budget stuff and lots of teacher layoff's so I was going for something that they could smile at
and pretty CAS too!
I designed the entire LO in my silhouette studio and then once I had the idea sketched out, I went and cut out all the pieces...
I used Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon's~Java Great Day Cutting Files. Isn't this just the cutest???? Lisa really knows how to make ADORABLE files!!

And then for my ribbon I used a newer released color and one of my favorites~Latte from the Coffee Bundle.
Of course for some added details I used my sewing machine...LOL! Just wanted to add a bit more to my LO without taking away from the invite part..

Well there you have it! I hope you have enjoyed my project!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Friday!!!

Dont forget you still have LOTS of time to enter our Birthday Celebration challenge over at the 3GJ Challenge Blog!! You can find out all the info HERE

Happy Birthday Gramps!

Weekend is ALMOST here.
I cannot wait.
I have alot of relaxing to do!
(well, one can fantasize, can't they?)

Rebecca here to show you a birthday card that I created for my daughter's grandpa.
Whatcha' think?  Did I pull off a man card?

I have a really difficult time making cards suitable for men.
This one was good practice.

The crinkle ribbon I used was perfect for the designer paper!  It's Latte, from the Coffee Bundle!

Which reminds me....if you want some good inspiration on birthday cards (besides this one, of course), you should make your way over to the challenge blog.  And you ought to think about linking up a card!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
Have a grand THURSDAY!
(oh, gosh...really just one more day)

Guest Designer - Jessica Kephart Week 3

HAPPY HUMP DAY EVERYONE!! Jessica again from Homespun Elegance to share a SUPER fun Project with the Muslim Bags in the 3 Girl JAM Store!!
I sure hope you will get one and give this a try!

If you missed my first two projects featuring 3 Girl JAM Products, I hope you will take the time to stop by and let me know what you think!

I used Tulip Fabric Paint, and Diluted it about 1/3 paint, and 2/3 water, and put it in a Spray Bottle, and went to town!!

I took an old torn sheet outside and spray until I had the color I wanted.

I distressed the bag with brown inks. Crinkle your Bag so you have a textured look when finished.

Using Circle Punches and Hot Glue, I made different size rosettes in the Merlot, London Fog, and Antique White 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon! These Colors are beautiful!!

I used a CD Binder Insert and hand stitched it to the bag.

Using my Unity Stamps and Stayzon ink in Timber Brown, I stamp a variety of my favorite images ad sentiments to the bag.

I grabbed a modge podge of my favorite embellishments and just started placing them around the "frame" (CD Insert)

I used an assortment of Buttons from 3 Girl JAM
The Rosettes I made from the London Fog, Merlot, and Antique White Crinkle Ribbon
and of course this incredible bag from 3 Girl JAM!!

I hope you love this project as much as I do! Don't forget to Follow 3 Girl JAM so you don't miss out on their New Releases, Sales, inspiration and Fun Challenges and Giveaways!!

See Beauty Card

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  Today I am sharing this darling card.  I was at a scrapbooking retreat last month and the hostess had several challenges.  One was to make a card with these butterfly shapes. We were allowed to use our own supplies to supplement the project and for me personally no card is complete with 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon.

I chose to use the Seasons Bundle for this card. I used Melody Ross stickers for the "See Beauty".  I love how delicate the card looks.  I will save this one for a "cheer up" or "just because card" for my stash.

Have a great day and make sure you come back tomorrow to see what our Guest Designer has in store for you!
