Thankful Beyond Measure

I trust you are having a great Thursday.  This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I'm so happy to be with you today.  Do you ever have those times when you just want to let someone know that you are thankful for them?  I know I do.  Recently a co-worker asked me if I had an extra thank you card for just such a person and I knew that I needed to make one that was extra special.  Needing room for multiple people to sign and leave a message, I decided that I would make a 5X7 card.  I grabbed some paper, some embellishments, and a few other items and went to work.  Of course any special card is made more special with 3 Girl JAM ribbon so I also grabbed some Witch's Brew and Antique White.

Now I must tell you that there is a NEW COLOR of 3 Girl JAM ribbon that will be coming soon that would have been even more perfect for this card.  I admit that I seriously considered sneaking it in here, but I behaved.  Curious?  You will all have to wait just a few more days.  Let me tell you, it will be worth the wait.

Of course a card is not made from ribbon alone so I should probably let you know some of the other things I used:
Paper Trey Ink - Vintage Cream cardstock, "Counting my blessings" die and stamp set
Basic Grey - PB&J 6X6 paper pad and "Marjolaine" woolies
Close to My Heart - Outdoor Denim ink
Adhesives - foam and tape runners

If you head over to my blog by clicking here, I have also posted a video.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Remember to take some time to enjoy the little things.

Baby Shower Card

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  Today I am sharing a darling baby shower card I made for my friend Sarah.  I always love sharing here at 3 Girl Jam.
The paper is from Echo Park Bundle of Joy.  I did some hand stitching along the border.  But my favorite part is of course the beautiful 3 Girl Jam Ice Blue Crinkle Ribbon.  The color can be bought either in the Jackpot Bundle or the Hot & Cold Bundle. I used the 3 Girl Jam Bow Maker for the ribbon.  It always ties my bows so nicely!
If you want to see more pictures you can visit my personal blog at 217 Creations.  Also make sure you jump over to the the 3 Girl Jam Challenge Blog for a fab challenge! Have a creative day!

Hope your day is Fabulous

Hello all, Happy Monday! Jovan here with a simple yet Fabulous card to share with you.
I used the beautiful Cherry Lipstick crinkle ribbon from the
I was going through my scraps and found this fun paper from Recollections. Since the paper was so fun I thought this sentiment from PTI was prefect.
I made a flower out of the ribbon to match the paper. I just LOVE the way my flower came out.

I hope everyone enjoys my card!

Happy Birthday

Rebecca here, reporting from a warming East Coast Springtime!

So Lovin' this weather change.  Wanted it.  This warmth. And needed the glow of the sun for some much needed needed rejuvenation.

Oh and the natural vitamin D3 doesn't hurt, eh?

Okay, so enough of my bliss on the weather change.

Today's project is all about celebrating those moments (for the YOUNG, mind you).

Yes, delightful CRINKLE RIBBON in such a wonderful pink color.

I mean, really, raise your hand if you'd like folks to forget yours.  Okay, we all know that while we keep aging, we really DO like it when someone remembers....we just hope they don't remember our age.

So THERE.

A bit of my old time and NEW time

EXCITEMENT...For someone else that surpasses ME in YEARS!

A Special card for a Special friend

I hope everyone is having a great Thursday!  Julie O here from muddypaws&inkyfingers with today's post.  A good friend of mine recently celebrated a birthday.  We've known each other for a long time and we've been good friends almost since the beginning, so it was important to me to make her just the right card.  I put a lot of love into this creation for her.  It features 3 Girl Jam Baby Girl Pink crinkle ribbon from the store.

Doesn't she look like a classy lady?  Here's a close up of the ribbon treatment at the bottom of the card:

And, in case you'd like to see that bow up close, here it is, too!

For more of the story of our friendship, and the supplies used on this card, please visit my blog.

My design sister, Madge, has a fantastic project on the 3 Girl Jam Challenge Blog today.  Check it out and leave her some love!   Then, link up your own April Shower creation!

Mixed Media Canvas

Hi Friends! It's Abby with ScrappinAbby. I am so excited to share another project with all of you using the FAB 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon! I made a mixed media canvas for a friend of mine using the Aqua from the Caribbean Splash, Tuxedo from the Celebrations, Daffodil from the Spring Flowers crinkle ribbon bundles.

I love how this canvas turned out. The 3 colors I chose from the different bundles work so well together.
I enjoy making those sweet flowers from the yummy crinkle ribbon! I can't wait to give this to my friend. She has 3 children so each mini canvas is for their photo and the larger one is for a family photo. She loves these colors and the 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon works so perfectly with type of project.

For additional photos, complete supply list and to watch a short video of this project, please stop by my blog, ScrappinAbby.

If you don't have any of the colors I used in my project, head over to the 3GJ Store and pick some up. There are lots of yummy colors and bundles to choose from.

Thanks for stopping by 3GJ and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

Happy Crafting : )

April {Baby} Showers

Hi Everyone!
Julie here today wishing you all a Happy Monday!

This weekend I went to a baby shower for my sweet friend Sarah.
My craft room has been out of commission and packed up for the last few weeks due to our move, but I was able to make a quick card without having to open too many boxes!

I used some Baby Boy Crinkle Ribbon and inked the edges a bit.
I also added a vintage estate button to the center of my bow.
The Sailboat Blue Skittles are made by Carri from DoubleClick AKA: Abusybee

This baby shower card would work for our current 3GJ challenge: April Showers

You can link up your own projects HERE.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Balloons

Hello, I hope you are having a great day. This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I am plugging away at birthday cards. I thought I would share one of them with you today. Grab some Daffodil and Harvest Orange 3 Girl JAM ribbon and come and play along.

I must admit that this card was really easy to make and I had a lot of fun doing it. Here's what I used with the 3 Girl JAM ribbon:

Basic Grey - "Life of the Party" 6X6 paper pad and element stickers.

Adhesive

Blue cardstock cut at 5.5"X8.5"

Operation Write Home - Bonus Sketch #13

Yes I said that this was really simple. In fact, I made 3 cards using the same sketch, but you will have to head over to my blog here to see the others. Plus I have a video to share with you so I really hope that you will check it out. Have a great day!

About The Guys

Hi Everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations. Making masculine cards is a challenge for most of us.  I am always looking for inspiration for those guy cards.
Today my card features 3 Girl Jam Sunflower Crinkle Ribbon.  You can buy Sunflower either in the Harvest bundle or in The Jackpot (that's how I bought mine). This card is 4 by 4.  I layered multiple cuts from Spellbinders. The background has been sanded and stamped with Pink By Design Argyle background stamp.

The paper is from Echo Park This and That 6 by 6 Pad.  I used the coordinating embellishment pack for the "world" brad in the middle.
As always thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and subscribe to us here at 3 Girl Jam and on my personal blog at 217 Creations.

Dance Bags

Happy Monday, Nicole here today to share some of 3 Girl Jam's Stateline muslin bags that I decorated for my older girls to use in their dance bags.  Both of my older girls are on pointe in their ballet training and that means extra accessories in their dance bags - bandaids, nail clippers, toepads, etc. .  .  Well, I thought these bags would make a great storage solution for some of those smaller items.  I used the 5 x 7 sized Stateline bags for this project.  I also used some Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)  that I had purchased a year ago and never used since.  I have to tell you I am in love with HTV!!  It cut out so well with my Cameo and ironed on easily with my regular ole iron set on high.   I also pulled out the drawstring and inserted some Tuxedo crinkle ribbon from the 3 Girl Jam Celebrations Bundle.

This project went together so easily and quite quickly too!!  I see myself doing more of these in the future for gifts - afterall, a lot of my daughters' friends are dancers too!!

Clip Board

Good Morning Everyone!  Rebecca here reporting in from wonderful Austin, Texas!  (work related travel takes me to really fun places sometimes!)

Anyway, my project this week is a clip board that I constructed from an old piece of wood and a clothes pin.  Prettied it up with some paint, distressed paper, a few beads, chipboard, buttons, etc...a little bit of crinkle ribbon, and some old ric rac I found in my sewing kit!

Hope you like it and are inspired to create something wonderful this weekend.  I sure had fun getting my hands dirty making it!
